Expired March 2026 Technical Meeting – Speaker Presentation

  • March Speaker
     March 19, 2026
     11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join us at our March meeting to hear Rachel Eigen, Sr. Program Manager with Amazon, speak on Human Error Is Predictable: Why Good People Make Bad Safety Decisions

This presentation challenges the long-standing assumption that safety failures are primarily caused by individual behavior, lack of training, or failure to follow procedures. Drawing from human factors science and real-world operational experience, the session explains how time pressure, cognitive load, fatigue, competing priorities, and system design shape everyday safety decisions—often without workers realizing it in the moment.

We welcome visitors, invite your colleagues!
