We had a great tour of the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) State Highway Emergency Program (SHEP) on October 15, 2018. SHEP serves motorists traveling in the Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Grand Strand/Myrtle Beach, Rock Hill, and Greenville/Spartanburg urban areas. prepared to handle a variety of situations, SCDOT SHEP responders make minor repairs to disabled vehicles, assist with traffic control and incident management as a FREE service.
Donors can establish a named academic scholarship or professional education grant fund through the ASSP Foundation. Scholarships and grants advance the safety profession and provide national recognition for the donor. The Foundation manages the administrative details of this program and works with the donor to provide qualified award recipients each year.
